Viktig information att komma ihåg:
- Alla som ska vigas måste först begära hindersprövning från Skatteverket. Det gör man genom att fylla i och skicka in en ansökningsblankett till Skatteverket. Blanketter och mer information hittar du på Skatteverkets webbplats. Du kan kontakta Skattemyndigheten i Landskrona på telefon 0771-56 75 67.
Om det inte finns några hinder utfärdar Skatteverket ett intyg om hindersprövning och ett vigselintyg som är giltiga i fyra månader. Intygen skall vara oss tillhanda senast 14 dagar innan vigseldatum.
- Två vittnen måste närvara vid den borgerliga vigseln och det är brudparet som ansvarar för att vittnen finns. Vittnenas namn och adress måste uppges i samband med bokningen av vigseln. Vittnena ska vara över 15 år.
-Om en av er eller båda är folkbokförda i Landskrona är avgiften 500 kronor. Bor båda i en annan kommun är avgiften 1 000 kronor. Avgiften sätts in på bankgiro 868-6123 eller genom swish på nummer 123 161 64 32 senast 14 dagar innan vigseldatum. Glöm inte att uppge namn och datum för vigseln när du betalar.
OBS! Alla vigslar där begärda handlingar (hindersprövning, vigselintyg och betalning) inte har inkommit senast 14 dagar innan vigseln kommer att avbokas. Vid avbokad vigsel återbetalas inte avgiften.
Civil marriage ceremony
Do you wish to get married in the Landskrona City Hall or somewhere else in the city? We conduct civil wedding ceremonies in the City Hall (Rådhus) and at other venues!
Information about civil marriage
Civil marriage is a lawfully binding ceremony performed without any religious elements.
To make a booking, fill out the following booking sheet.
Remember that two witnesses need to attend the ceremony. It is your responsibility to make sure that two witnesses can attend the ceremony. Names and addresses of your witnesses need to be filled in the booking. The witnesses must be over 15 years old.
The cost for the ceremony is 500 SEK if one or both of you are registered residents in Landskrona. If both of you are registered as residents in another city, the cost for the ceremony is 1 000 SEK.
The payment needs to be done 14 days prior to the ceremony. You can either pay through Bankgiro 868-6123 or by Swish 123 161 64 32. Do not forget to label the payment with your name and the date of the ceremony.
Important documents
To get married you need to apply for a Certificate of No Impediment (hindersprövning) at the Swedish Tax Agency. The two documents that you receive from the Swedish Tax Agency should be sent to us at least 14 days prior to the ceremony to avoid cancellation.

After the ceremony
You will get a marriage certificate in Swedish and, if requested, one in English in connection to the ceremony. After the wedding ceremony your documents will be sent to the Swedish Tax Agency for registration.
If you require other documentation to verify your marriage in your country, besides the marriage certificate, please contact the Swedish Tax Agency. With your marriage certificate you can also contact a Notarius Publicus for an official stamp.
